The most comprehensive Meditation Therapist and Holistic Counselling training course available!

Graduates will receive the Mind Body Education Advanced Diploma and are entitled to use the letters Adv.Dip.Med.Hol.Couns. (MBEd)

Includes all three of the following programs and a full year of IMTTA Practitioner Registration with a total of 13 IMTTA accredited certificates over 20 months, part time

Program 1. Certificate in Meditation Teaching and Holistic Human Development

Program 2. Diploma in Meditation Therapy
Postgraduate Certificate in Autonomic Nervous System Realignment Therapy (ANSR)
Postgraduate Certificate in Brain Body Medicine
Plus two elective postgraduate certificate courses

Program 3. Advanced Diploma in Meditation Therapy
Four elective postgraduate certificate courses

Postgraduate Course Electives (Over the duration of your Advanced Diploma of Meditation Therapy you will complete six of the following ten Postgraduate certificate courses. You will receive formal Postgraduate Certification for each course.)

You can choose to complete further postgraduate courses after graduating from the Advanced Diploma of Meditation Therapy, as standalone short courses if you wish.

Practitioner Registration

All course graduates receive an invitation to join the International Meditation Teachers and Therapists Association (IMTTA) FREE for the first year, as a registered IMTTA Practitioner.

The IMTTA will provide you with resources, support and guidance to assist you in beginning and successfully establishing your new holistic practice. (You can re-register each year after the first free year expires at $220 per year if you wish to receive continuing support and assistance.) You will receive your invitation to join the IMTTA free when you graduate from your course (Certificate in Meditation Teaching and Holistic Human Development) and can start working in your exciting new career immediately. Even if you plan to continue studying, through postgraduate courses, to achieve your Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or Masters in Holistic Counselling.

Course Duration

Part Time Study: Total: 10 hours study per week x 20 months Total 760 study hours

Certificate modules take one week to complete and Postgraduate modules take two weeks each to complete, part time.

Extensions and Deferrals

Extensions and Deferrals can be arranged provided your total study length does not exceed 25 months. This allows an additional 5 months to complete your course if required. Longer deferrals are also available under special circumstances at the Principals discretion. Payment plans cannot be deferred and fee instalments must be paid each week until the total course fee has been paid in full.

Online Study and Support

This course is delivered completely online. Links to your online classroom where you can access your lesson packs and associated materials will be emailed to you and you will submit your course work via email. Associated audio and audio-visual components can be viewed or listened to online or downloaded on to your computer.

This is a high support course and you will have as much personal contact with your teacher, student supervisor and student mentor as you wish, via email and telephone to ensure you receive the amount of guidance and support you need to successfully complete your course.

Course Outcomes

On Completion of the first Certificate level component of this intensive accredited training course you will be qualified to work as a professional meditation teacher and holistic counsellor if you wish to do so, while working through to the advanced diploma level.

You will be able to work for yourself teaching meditation, chair yoga and positive life skills in the community to groups and individuals and in the corporate sector as a stress management consultant. You will also be able to provide holistic counselling services. You may also seek employment, if you wish, in holistic healthcare centres, wellbeing clinics, health clubs, natural therapies centres and retreats, gymnasiums, respite centres and community centres as well as several other areas that seek to employ qualified holistic therapists with a focus on meditation therapy and positive self-development.

As you complete each of the postgraduate modules through your training course, you will be able to specialize in those particular areas and offer a wider range of skills and services.

On completion, you will have the skills, qualifications and confidence to develop a solid general holistic wellbeing practice or a specialist practice, focused on one or more particular areas of interest and you will have ongoing practitioner support to assist you in successfully developing your practice.

You will be able to register for full membership with the International Institute of Complementary Therapist, The International Meditation Teachers Association and several other recognised holistic and complementary therapist associations.
